We call balloon vine plant "Mudakathan Keerai" in Tamil and this plant is very famous in Tamil Nadu for it's use in treating joint pains. Mudakathana keerai is a climber with balloon like fruits and it's botanical name is cardiospermum halicacabum. It is called kanphata in Hindi and is best identified with the leaves and balloon like fruits.
